Background
I have been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist for 24 years. I received my undergraduate degrees at UC Irvine, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in Psychology and Political Science. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) from The California School of Professional Psychology in 1998. Following my doctoral program, I did my postdoctoral fellowship with Children and Adolescents at the Kaiser Permanente Psychiatry Department in San Bruno, California. Subsequently, I gained further experience and training at The Esther B Clark School at Children’s Health Council, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Kaiser Permanente, and FriendSmarts (where I did social skills groups for children).
Since 2001, I have been practicing in Menlo Park with children, teens, and young adults. In my work as an individual therapist, I enjoy working with a diverse array of clients and often follow my therapy clients off/on from childhood through college and beyond. I also enjoy supporting parents who want guidance and support raising their children. In this process (assuming there is a signed release of information), I enjoy collaborating with teachers, physicians and other mental health professionals.
I am aware that navigating the world of therapy can be overwhelming and I look forward to hearing from you to determine if I am a good fit. I am incredibly lucky to have a job that I love and I have always felt that every client deserves my best effort.
